Wow!
We love this cooker. Beautiful porridge, great rice. It has made such a difference. I didn't think it was possible, but it's so much easier and better than I could make witihout it. Very easy to use, and good instructions. Highly recommend.

Excellent cooker for our requirements (2-4 people, timer, keep warm feature). Simple to use out of the box, 1st batch was OK, all subsequent batches perfect (better rice rinsing procedure). Set it and forget it. Consistent results. Even when we're late it isn't. Should have purchased years ago.

Sure the manual sucks, and maybe it's a little small for some families (there is a 5 1/2 cup Zojirushi too if you need a bigger one), and it is pricy, but the bottom line is that once you get the water to rice ratio to where you want it (it takes a few batches to get it exactly right), this rice cooker cooks THE BEST RICE EVER!
Plus, small foot print, super easy to clean, retractable cord, timer, sturdy build, carrying handle, looks good. What more could you want?
Also, I've had this for about 1 1/2 years. During that time, I have cooked rice and kept it warm almost non stop (I'm a bodybuilder and I eat TONS of rice). Even after 1 1/2 years of heavy, heavy usage, it is still as good as new.
If you're on this page, you're obviously looking to buy a rice cooker. Do yourself a favor: Don't waste anymore of your valuable time and stop thinking that it's too expensive (remember that you get what you pay for). Just get this one. YOU WILL BE TOTALLY SATISFIED WITH THIS PURCHASE, not just now, but for years to come
